Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has indicated that progress is being made within the ongoing peace talks between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations. He said in a very video message after talks between the 2 sides on Tuesday night, local time, that the talks are on a practical path. The news came from a Reuters report.
On February 24, Russian forces launched a "special military operation" in Ukraine. afterward, the 2 sides discussed several points but didn't see much progress. the 2 sides were last discussed online again on Tuesday.
"The meeting will continue," Zelensky said in a very video message released on Tuesday night. I've got been informed that the discussion is proceeding in an exceedingly more realistic manner than before. However, the talks will take longer to achieve a call in Ukraine's interests.
Ukrainian officials have expressed hope that the war could end before expected. They think the war could last until May. Because, during that point, Russia's logistics will decrease. The country won't be able to add new troops to the war.
Indicating a possible compromise recently, Zelensky said Ukraine does not want to hitch NATO.
